Day 1: Nairobi/Masaai Mara

Pick up from your Hotel at 8.30 am drive to the viewpoint of the Rift Valley, descend the escarpment and drive via Narok town then to Masai Mara for lunch at the camp. After lunch proceed for afternoon game drive in Masaai Mara game reserve famous for its black manned lion and yearly migrations of wildebeests from Serengeti in Tanzania to Masai Mara in Kenya, dinner and overnight at the Enchoro Wildlife Camp.

Day 2: Masaai Mara

After early morning breakfast, full day spent game viewing and exploring this spectacular park with picnic lunch served in the park at the Mara river border of Kenya and Tanzania, return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Masaai Mara/L.Nakuru

Pre-breakfast game drive, return to the campsite for late breakfast and leave your campsite and proceed to L.Nakuru arriving in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Nakuru budget Hotel.

Day 4: Nakuru/Nairobi

After early morning breakfast proceed for a game drive in L.Nakuru National park known for its millions of flamingoes and other water birds. Leave Nakuru after lunch for Nairobi arriving mid or late afternoon for overnight a Nairobi hotel/hostel on the bed only.

Day 5: Nairobi-Arusha.

Pick up from your hotels in Nairobi at 7.30 am drive to Arusha with a stopover at the border post for immigration formalities, arrive in Arusha to be met by one of our staff followed by safari briefing, overnight in Arusha budget Hotel B/B.

Day 6: Arusha/ Lake Manyara

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 8.30 am leave for L.manyara National park arriving in time for lunch with afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight in your campsite.

Day 7: Lake Manyara- Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, leave Lake Manyara for the ngorongoro crater arriving in the afternoon, descend 2000 ft (670m) into the crater floor for a full day crater tour with break for lunch at Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. Black manned lions, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants and other grazing animals abound. Evening game drive, return to Ngorongoro wildlife campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Ngorongoro/Serengeti

Leave Ngorongoro after breakfast for Serengeti arriving in time for lunch after lunch proceed for afternoon game drive in this unique park to see the many animals, dinner and overnight at Serengeti seronera campsite.

Day 9: Serengeti

Morning and afternoon game drive in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break at the lodge or campsite in the mid-afternoon. The term ‘Serengeti’ means endless plains in the maasai language. In the central plains, there are carnivores like leopards, hyena, and cheetah. This park is normally the scene of the annual migration of the wildebeest and zebras, which occurs between Serengeti and Kenya’s Maasai Mara game reserve. Eagles, Flamingoes, duck, geese, vultures are among the birds that can be seen in the park, Dinner, and overnight in your campsite.

Day 10: Serengeti-Tarangire.

After breakfast, leave Serengeti for Tarangire National park lunch en route. The park has an atmosphere of remoteness and has a good number of monkeys, hornbills, pelicans, and herons among others. Dinner and overnight at the campsite

Day 11: Tarangire-Arusha

After breakfast proceeds for a game drive and leave Tarangire to Arusha arriving in the afternoon for overnight.

Day 12: Arusha – Machame

Pick up from your Hotel in Arusha at 8.00 am for an early start to Kilimanjaro National Park, once we reach the Machame park gate we will proceed directly to Machame hut campsite in an average hiking time of 6 hours for meals and overnight in tents. The attitude here is 3,100m.

Day 13: Machame – Shira

After breakfast, hike to Shira Hut. The trek takes 4 hours approximately via the rain forest past the valley and a steep rocky ridge ending westward at a river gorge. You will have a rest, dinner and overnight at Shira hut campsite, 3,658m above sea level.

Day 14: Shira – Barranco

From Shira, hike to Barranco hut, on average hiking of 6 hours. We by-pass the lava tower and past the second junction which brings us to the arrow glacier, altitude 4,876m. We descend to Barranco hut campsite for our third overnight on Kilimanjaro, 3,860. above sea level.

Day 15: Barranco – Barafu

After breakfast, we leave Barranco and continue to the Karanga valley and the junction, which connects with the Mweka trail. We hike to Barafu hut where we set up camp. We will have walked for about 8 hours. Dinner and overnight at the hut campsite, altitude 4,600m with the possibility of sighting both Mawenzi and Kibo Peaks.

Day 16: Barafu – Stella Point and Uhuru Peak-Mweka.

We rise early and head for Stella Point altitude 5,745m on our way to the Summit Uhuru Peak that is 5,896m above sea level. This part of the hikes takes about 6 hours. From the Summit, we descend to the Mweka hut campsite, 3,100m above sea level. This part of the descent takes about 5 hours. Dinner and overnight.

Day 17: Mweka- Arusha

After breakfast, we descend to Mweka Park Gate in an average hiking time of 4 hours and then drive back to Arusha where your safari ends.
